Minnetonka’s Kids’ Fest is coming up! It’s a wonderful way to get out of the house and enjoy an afternoon with your children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews, or a friend’s little ones. And the best part? It’s free!
Hopkins-Minnetonka Recreation Services will be hosting this event on the afternoon of Sunday, February 14 at the Minnetonka Civic Center Campus, 14600 Minnetonka Boulevard.
Kids’ Fest activities include dog sled rides, dance instruction, face painting, ice carving demonstrations, mask making, swimming, ice skating, and a large host of other activities that kids adore.
Don’t forget to do a good deed while you are having fun, bring along some canned goods. Collections will be received to help area families in need.
If the idea of walking between the three facilities gives you second thoughts, have no worries. A free shuttle van will run between the buildings every 15 minutes. Parking is at any of these facilities. For more information, call 952-939-8203.
