Meet Nicole Johnsrud
EDUCATION
I am a graduate from the University of North Dakota (Grand Forks), 2001 with a degree in Communication and emphasis in Advertising and Marketing. In the spring of 1999 I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study abroad and decided to go to Moss, Norway for six months to experience a new culture and to look into my family roots. I very much enjoyed my time in college and the opportunities it opened up to me and the people I got to meet.
REAL ESTATE
Within the real estate industry I have earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in 2007 which is a true mark of excellence. Only 4% of Realtors nationwide hold the esteemed designation. These three letters after my name are not just about education, a CRS Realtor must actually have a proven track record of business. Many in real estate consider this designation to be the Doctorate of Real Estate in degree terms.
I also hold the GRI, the Graduate, Realtor Institute; letting my clients know that I have completed an extra 90 hours of training that helps me to better assist them in their real estate needs. Designations are an important part of being a Realtor, it means that I care enough about what I have to offer to my clients and the continued pursuit of education and bettering myself. My love is not only hard work and perseverance but I enjoy being creative. This is helpful when it comes to both buying and selling your home. I have years of marketing experience that is mixed with drive, creativity and dedication. When it comes to thinking out of the box; let me see what I can do.My first and most important role is being a mother to my son, Tristan and a wife to my husband, Andrew. We also have a mischievous and fun-loving lab, Buddy who keeps us laughing and on our toes but more importantly reminds us to not take life too seriously.
FAMILY
I am a North Dakota native; raised on a farm on the edge of the Red River Valley and brought up to help others who need assistance, be honest in everything you do, and that hard work (though it may not show results right away), is the most rewarding feeling. I have the knowledge, expertise, and education that can assist you in your home buying and selling needs. There is no need to go any further, I have an enthusiasm that is contagious, whether I’m coaching, teaching or helping others in the pursuit of their dream home, I want you to feel the same excitement during this sometimes stressful process.
